1- got there n met our tour guide, a vietnamese named Chin aka Nine, who conversed with american-accented-english fluently.
2- i think the must-go-to places r chu ci tunnel and coconut candy island.
3- u definitely have to ride a small boat (sampan) n cruise mekong river.
4- went to vietnam, n i fell in love with indian food. real indian food r sick (delicious). eating at d tandoor was a privilege to me.
5- there r 3mil bikes in saigon alone. n 23mil in vietnam altogether, with 80mil vietnamese reside there.
6- it's a common thing to c cars/bikes/bicycles/pedestrians going 4 ways at a junction, at the same time.
7- the vietnam war with USA caused 3mil fatalities on vietnam side, with 2mil being civilians. the impact of the war can still b seen vividly today, especially economically.
8- u can make a transaction using USD n vietnam Dong. Dong is better i think. u lost quite a lot using USD.
9- i met no beggar on the streets of vietnam. that's something that they should b proud of, and malaysian should ponder on.
10- we were graced with the presence of a special guest, nguyen wan-anip.  .
11- i do hope that there r more halal food restaurant.
12- last but not least, viva la viet!
